  1. "They keep a lid on it because they think God likes it. Who am I to tell them any different?"…I was so hoping he'd reprise his famous "I'm Alan Partridge" line, after that…
Fair play to Steve Coogan for keeping his material fresh, though 👍

  2. Is this real? Or this is not real? 🤓 mais je suis un artiste 😭 je suis un dolphin 😭

  3. I wonder if he did stay there and enjoy the silence and allow himself time for contemplation. It's not everyone who feels the need for it, but for those who do, it's wonderful.

  4. "I'd lost a competition with God. But it felt good." Is well beyond its time and place. Running and jumping, too, is underrated. On the other hand, God still owes me an assload at the veriest least.

  5. Monks love silence because God loves silence. In fact, it seems to be His defining feature.

    Edgy or what?

  6. Because somebody showed them a broadcast of the BBC news channel and monks realised how useless taking can be?

  7. I ACCIDENTALLY KNEW THIS GUY BECAUSE OF AN OPEN BOOK MOVIE (WHICH BY THE WAY I DIDN’T FINISH ) BECAUSE HIS CHARACTER IN REAL LIFE IS DISGUSTING. HIS COMPLAINTS ABOUT HIS WATER HAVING AN ICE WAS SO CLEAR IN THE RECORDING. HE ALSO COMPLAINS ABOUT SO TINY THINGS LIKE AN OLD WOMAN. IT WAS AKWARD AND STOP PLAYING BUTTON CATCHY. I SAID, MAN THIS GUY HAS AN ATTITUDE PROBLEM. SO I TRIED TO SEARCH HIM OVER THE INTERNET AND FOUND OUT THAT HE ACCIDENTALLY SHOT HIS AUDIENCE IN HIS FORMER SHOW. I WOULD NOT WONDER IF SOMEONE SABOTAGED HIM TO END HIS CAREER BECAUSE OF HIS ATTITUDE AND BEING A BITCHY MAN.

  8. 3:14 is kinda profound: ''it amused me that I was in an institute full of angry wives in big brown dresses'', the rest's a bit silly in the modern way (okay except the bin man vow of silence joke)

  9. Alan Partridge is easily one of the greatest comedic creations of all time. It's just a pity that Steve Coogan himself is such a total and utter lefty liberal champagne socialist. Ah well, it's always best to separate the art from the artist. 👍

  10. “But smiling constantly starts to make your face ache, I wonder if it felt the same for Holly Willoughby.”

  11. ….heheeheh… complex dinamic system question ( hard solution) , easy solution ( easy to ride), hard solution!…hehehehe… just share it to the population!… the population always ready to dance with the solutions ( speech of monks)!… in accord to hte real???.. who am I to hear it without a dance, a sacred dance?… hehehehe…
