That type of conspiracy theory is always silly and very disrespectful of the people protesting for their own reasons. Foreign influences and agents can stir and bolster, but at best/worst they can create very small protests, not a widespread movement. Outside influences does not create the homegrown inner motivations. In this case, anyone who knows Iran… knows such protests are not really new and reoccur often in history until the theocratic and authoritarian tendencies end.
