Um, elk are actually an iconic species in the Pacific Northwest. Washington has the 6th largest population for a state. Oregon has 2 kinds are they are hunted to keep down the overwhelming numbers. It drives me crazy when a simple Google search would have kept them from saying something totally ridiculous. It was an unnecessary comment to boot.
