3. First of all, there is no way a classic can be duplicated. . Looks decent enough but there is only one Matilda, my childhood Matilda.. when i was a kid i would yunk my meat to Matilda, then I grew up and I started to yunk my meat to the teacher, now I just yunk my meat to the principal.. me and the old film Matilda have a special bond and you will not separate us..

28. I am exited for this musical movie of Matilda! And also, I’m going to see her amazing abilities in the screen! After I saw the trailer for this musical movie, I thought that her powers will be super powerful and amazing when it releases. 😊

30. When my mom and I watched this, we weren't really into the first song. We almost stopped watching the movie after that. But we kept going. And it definitely got better as it went along. By the end, we were so glad we watched this. The ending was so beautiful that I actually cried. Now I wish I got to see this stage musical when I had the chance.

35. I remember watching this movie as a child and was seriously disturbed by the torture scenes including the box with nails in it and the cake eating scene. Definitely not for sensitive children. Kids feel every detail of the movie in their nervous systems.

37. This Matilda the musical was awful I saw it and it is so terrible because they ruined my childhood and it will be garbage and that's why I hated this abomination musical in my opinion I thought the Pinocchio live action was the worst movie but this is bull crap💩

40. So, as an American that grew up on the Danny DeVito version I have to say I always LOVED that version. I was only 7 when it came out. When my nieces were young I even made them a double chocolate cake to eat while watching it for the first time(for obvious reasons). Anyway, with that being said I LOVED this film! It is a British story and I firmly believe cultures are better at telling their own stories. I love, love, loved it! Such a talented group of children. Incredible choreography and Emma Thompson is an absolute gem. That’s in general; obviously. She’s a monster in this role 😜
