This is a massive snooze fest.
Kenneth B cannot speak with a French/Belgian accent to save his life. His eyes watering for no reason throughout the film.
The iconic Cataract hotel shot on location at the time becomes a weird seemingly Indian middle of the road palace here, the whole film is infested with soulless computer generated effects, not one scene was shot in Egypt, the dialogues are ripped from all the fun and irony that made the original so good. This is long, slow, boring. So so bad.

Just seen it. Good acting, good cinematography…I knew the story anyway, so no shocks ….excrpt to say it's a bit woke – for some reason this version had to feature racism and lesbianism. Why ? Why ?

The movie is soooooo bad. Gal gadot has too kind face that isnt fit with the role. Why do they have to run away from the original. "The race must be variety".. " Put some lgbt references"… Are u selling a story or selling an agenda? This is just SOOOOO BAAADD. People do study history, so you dont need to change them just to fit modern taste.
The plot is already classic.. What i mean of classic is that this type of plot already too mainstream nowadaya. A man who has engaged to a woman but then married to a rich rich woman but just want to take her wealthy.. If they want to change the story a little bit, the director should have more focus to evolve the plot so that people won't think that the husband is the culprit. From the beginning people already know that the husband is suspicious with his lover until the movie ends there isn't any plot that make people think otherwise. This is really running away from the original story which make people can't believe that these two are the culprits.
