Massive Leak of Military Docs Reveals Mexico Armed Cartels, Surveilled Journalists & Zapatistas

A stunning leak of more than 4 million documents from inside the Mexican military has revealed collusion between high-level military officials and the country’s cartels. The leak, published by the hacking group Guacamaya, is one of the largest in Mexico’s history and shows how military officials sold weapons, technical equipment and key information about rival gangs to cartels. The documents also show how officials monitored journalists and activists using Pegasus spyware, and evaded cooperation with the investigation into the disappearance of 43 students from Ayotzinapa. For more, we’re joined by journalist Luis Chaparro, who examined some of the documents and reported in a piece for Vice that they reveal Mexico’s military sold grenades to the drug cartels.

  1. So they did what we did. Oh no. This is ridiculous to cover while our own government does this all over the world. Our own government refuses to support it's own working class. Our own government has over 800 military bases around the globe that are used to protect business interests instead of the peoples interests. Your generation is accountable for all of this.
What say you? I don't give a shit what Mexico is doing right now. we have our own shit to work out do we not?

  2. And so with news, what's being done? Oh yeah Panama papers wikileaks shows us – nothing. Is law just a joke? Are institutions toys of the powerful?

  3. Our Creator TMH God is bringing out everything hidden I love it MH 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 APTTMHGY 💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾

  4. Trump, and Pompeo were right. It's time to eliminate the command, and control of the Chinese Communist Party backed Mexican drug cartels.
The Jan 6th committee should be eliminated, and form a committee to investigate the Joe Biden regime's treason, and collusion with known sponsors of state terrorism at the southern border.

  5. Let's not forget "Fast and Furious" BO and Biden let all kinds of guns get into the hands of Cartels in Mexico and Thousands of Mexicans and one US Border Patrol officer were killed by those weapons.

  6. So what. What’s the big deal. I rather live there then USA. America is the most corrupted country in the world. Does everything in your face.

  7. The war on drugs is essential to successful human trafficking and I think it is disgusting that Israel with it's disregard to human rights should be meddling in Mexico so freely. Really what this is about sexism and misogyny. Women are largely left to deal as individuals with gangs and parties of men who play their comic book games with religion ensuring they maintain the upper hand in political affairs

  8. The mexican govt has armed the cartels with grenades but they're turning around and blaming American gunmakers?! If any Americans are to blame for the violence in Mexico, it is the ATF for funneling guns across the border (operation fast and furious) and the politicians that support the war on drugs and other destructive american policies.

  9. Not surprising that the powers of all the large countries work together. Weather CIA flying in tons or Russian mob selling weapons from military to cooperation between military and cartels in Mexico or industry in China that is able to move fentanyl to the US, worldwide the people in power work together as the little people are subject to abuse weather from corrupt legal system or local crime groups the result is the same.

  10. Sounds like old news even though its new news- bootleg mexican software is unsurprising. Weren't the elections hacked by Felix Arellano? Praying for justice for the 43 students!

  11. Funny During the past 30 years the Mexican Government really spied on Politicians Journalist And Even Private Citizens And No One Said A Thing About It Now Everyone Complain About Everything.

  12. Why are you trying to make it look like thee current Mexican government is guilty of the past administrations corruption. 🇲🇽🇷🇺

  13. As one cartel member said about the drug war in Mexico, “the drug problem in Mexico will never go away because the top officials are hopelessly corrupted and are making lots of money “.

  14. Maybe Trump had it right, build that wall and bomb the Cartels, even if they're in Arizona.
Even though I'm a Democrat I really am getting tired of being politically correct.

  15. This show is against the people.
How do you feel after watching DN?

    Well Informed?
    Hopeful?
    Energized?
    Gratitude?
    Inspired?

    Or…

    Frustrated?
    Hopeless?
    Anxious?
    Depressed?
    Angry?

  16. We had the Mexican general Salvador Cienfuegos Zepeda from the Mexican army who was selling all this crap. Now they have documents that he was spying on journalist, giving all that information to the cartel and he was in prison United States we shipped him back to Mexico because we wanted good relations with the Mexican government. It’s good to know that our government is protecting us.

  17. México is a rich land that has no need for corruption but greed of money/drug hold keeps it in the slumps. I ,as a Mexican American, am disgraced and fearful of the land.
But if El Salvador can clean it's land maybe we can too..?

  18. Nothing was reported.
    Nothing was revealed.
    No dates or facts given.
    This is not journalism.
This is not what progressive movements are about.
    Instead…the same
    More prejudice
    More divisiveness
