  1. My eldest son is called Marlowe, I am massive fan of the books and various film adaptations this looks absolutely awful – dreadfully miscast (Alan Cummings! Ffs) and heavy hand of studio action demands. Robert Mitchum, Humphrey Bogart, James Garner will be laughing into their whisky glasses.

  2. Does anybody happen to know what the jazz track is that's playing at the very end please let me know

  3. Missed opportunity to have Elliot Gould do a cameo. Not sure how I feel about this, I'm excited but an action movie? Hopefully on a few scenes.

  4. If this movie has at least some vibe of OG Marlowe movies they were not shown in this trailer.

  5. pretty decent. Neeson returns in the his typical good man caught in a bad situation role, This time with a retro settings. At least it looks good enough to be a full length feature movie. His last few movies have not been of the standard you expect in a full length movie. They have been sub-par.
However he is reaching the end of his one man action role franchise that began with Taken. Lets hope these last few are good.

  6. Waiiiiit a minuteeee!!! MARLOWE IS BACK?! YEEAAAAAH!!!! For me Bogart always will be Marlowe but i'm so happy. And Liam is the classic detective?! I'm going nuts! Please be a good movie, pleaseee

  7. Darkman – 1990 L.A.
    Taken – 2008, 2012, 2014 L.A.
    Marlowe – 1939 L.A.

    Liam Neeson’s Los Angeles Lists

  8. Love the idea but it looks a little stiff in execution.
Also, music is important in these kind of period pieces. Anybody know the composer, Holmes?

  9. He has a very particular set of skills, skills he has acquired over a very long career. Skills that make him a nightmare for people

  10. "Success is walking from failure to failure with no loss of enthusiasm." —Winston Churchill

  11. I'm looking forward to this and Liam Neeson's take on the character but Mitchum is my favorite Marlowe.

  12. A Neil Jordan film without Stephen Rea?! Someone arrest this movie for indecent exposure!
