19. well that was a lot of spoilers for a trailer… and also, the dance secuence, really? The joke of using an robot is not to move exactly like a human body does. This just makes you see how ovbious they just used a person with a doll looking head 🙄

31. This movie seems to be using a similar premise to I Robot, where the AI is focused on it's stated goal and is using an optimized path to achieve that goal. Isaac Asimov created the Three Laws of Robitics so that they would be logically inconsistent, thereby forcing the human's that were dependent on the robots to have to deal with the problems that this inconsistency created in the robot's behaviour. The same thing is happening here, and since AI of this nature uses deep learning techniques along with goal seeking algorithms, you end up with the same types of inconsistencies. Lacking a "moral" framework by which to operate, M3gan is just optimizing the task at hand in a perfectly logical if horrific fashion. There is much more going on here than just a robotic slasher and I find the implications of the movie very interesting.
