“Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules,” is an all-new animated movie based on the second book in Jeff Kinney’s wildly popular book series. The original song from the film, “Can You Smell Us Now,” written and produced by Jon Levine, with lyrics by Jeff Kinney, and performed by Jimmy Tatro, is also available. Be sure to check everything out, and don’t forget to watch “Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules” on December 2, 2022, when it premieres on Disney+.
The riotous antics of angst-ridden, disaster-prone middle school student Greg Heffley continue in “Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules,” focusing this time around on his complicated relationship with older brother Rodrick. A spikey-haired high school student, Rodrick is lazy and undisciplined and spends way too much time practicing with his rock band, Löded Diper. While he loves to torment Greg, he ultimately has a deep affection for his younger brother. Directed by Luke Cormican (“Teen Titans Go!) and written and produced by Jeff Kinney, “Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules” features the voices of Brady Noon (“The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers”), Ethan William Childress (“mixed-ish”), Edward Asner (“Up”), Chris Diamantopoulos (“Silicon Valley”), Erica Cerra (“Power Rangers”), and Hunter Dillon (“Deadpool 2”). “Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules” features the original song, “Can You Smell Us Now,” written and produced by Jon Levine, with lyrics by Jeff Kinney, and performed by Jimmy Tatro.

Im wating the dog days and cabin fever movie

I am once more one of the few people completely in support of these movies. I like the animation enough, and they’re always faithful to the source material. It’s just cozy, I like it🤷🏼♂️
cant wait to see the full movie
0:22 THATS A BIT SUSSY
“A few moments later….”
Hey Disney stop wasting my time!
Gotta ask… why the animation so absolutely outrageously low quality? Looks like something a Youtube under 1k subs could make in under an hour
Beautiful, very relaxing, I love it.
i have seen blender beginner tutorials that look better than this
Bruh why is everybody comparing the live-action vs the animation🤨of course it isn’t the same cuz it’s animated, it would make much more sense to compare the live-action ones with each other.
i am the only one who thought manny was a bit cute
Zoo wee mama !
Oh no…
At least Greg heffleys mom doesn't have that recorded in a bathroom vibe.
This movie is going to be as bad as the other one
i can’t wait to watch it this wkd
Epic
I usually don't mind some reboots or just don't care. But these animated remakes shorten and ruin something I grew up with.
It says 20th century studios OMG😃😃😃😊
Oh boy, here we go again.
I want another one with the fight scene
YO cool Ig
It's Gonna Be… Epic!

“It’s our party!”

The animation is rough, but I really enjoyed the first movie, and though it had its problems, it was a guilty pleasure. Though I’m more hopeful towards this one since, 1) rodrick rules was an amazing book,2) it’s longer, so hopefully they won’t cut important parts of the story out, and finally, it has more rodrick.
I hope they don't just make a watered down version of the live action movie like the first one and stay true to the books instead
Present 3 hours
I like this version of Diary of a Wimpy Kid
I hope they make The Last Straw and Dog Days in 2023 and 2024
2010s vs 2020s
Even though I loved the first three live-action movies, I feel like it would be better to not compare them with this.
I feel like this would be sort-of like a yearly thing where they release sorta long episodes based off the books
RATED PG
for rude humor.
YES I CAN'T WAIT
I honestly like the live action movies better than the animation version
