1. The last series? Nooo, more please. Sad the old police station is not in Series 3. I worked out of there as an Inspector, and interior shots made me smile. The number of times I ran down the stairs, bouncing off the wall as they turned a corner part way down, responding to emergencies! I covered all the areas shown in the series, and Sarah plays the sergeant's role to perfection, providing an ample balance between the civilians, PCs and higher ranks. Well written, a down to earth Yorkshire grit production. Well done to all involved, from the writers, production team and actors.

25. I would say the best British drama ever made. Why people haven't seen it before is crazy. This means you can't talk about television shows without watching this masterpiece.

26. I love that they used Joy Division’s Atmosphere in the trailer. Never has there been a more aptly-named song.

27. I need to rewatch the first two series / seasons because this is such a good programme and I want to get the best out of it when I watch the new series. The performances are brilliant, including the amazing Sarah Lancashire and Siobhan Finneran.

35. Fantastic series, my 82 year old mum and 85 year old dad love this show too and have been waiting for series 3 since series 2 dropped.
