25. In old Hollywood most of these roles would have been filled by veteran characters actors, actors who had a lifetime of playing eccentric, off the wall characters. With one or two exceptions none of these people here have any real talent, they are all one dimensional actors playing themselves. It makes it all very boring and predictable.

29. Goddamn, as someone who got to see this at the London Film Festival last month…somebody give the trailer editor a raise, absolutely herculean effort in making an entertaining, meaty trailer while spoiling *nothing*.

30. Gotta be honest, the fact that this is coming out on Netflix takes all the air out of it's sails for me. I mean wasn't the first one a huge box office hit? Just makes no sense to me that this isn't being released in theaters. 🤷

So the guy who was known as sequel hater and then got to ruin a sequel to probably the most beloved franchise (not by me but still…) in the world, the guy who blamed it on Hollywood for being creatively bankrupt, for constantly releasing only sequels and remakes, made a sequel to his own movie. Huh… I'm sure it's gonna be a good movie like the first one was but the irony makes me smile.

42. I for one am absolutely glad that they made a sequel to Knives Out and made Foghorn Leghorn Sherlock Holmes the lead character.
