  1. Good to see a movie about him. Countless movies about great melanated people that should have been made and need to be made.

  2. Finally a movie about the chevalier de saint George, but unlike what it is said, it's not an untold story since in France, the country of the chevalier, we talk about him, Paris has a street with his name, and many documentaries about him. White father, black mother, noble blood, best sword master of his time, defeating the best in Europe, but most importantly amazing violin player and compositor from whom Mozart learnt his style. And …secret lover of Marie Antoinette

  3. “In any other country a man of your color would not be wearing such fine clothes” a westerner’s audacity and condescension

  4. I'm so excited for this movie!!! I've watched the trailer four times now and am telling everyone I know that they're FINALLY making a movie about the Chevalier de Saint-Georges!

  5. Why do they always have to lick their lips compulsively. He did that and immediately it felt like a rap video, not a movie set in the eighteen century. So dumb.

  6. Good to see a movie about him. I’ve read his biography almost 15 years ago and thought it would look very good on screen.

  7. Why are all the french actually englishmen, here? Are they trying to provoke us? Damn brits pto*ey in baguette

  8. This looks really good but I just want to talk about how much I love the proper pronunciation of the word 'chevalier'. It just feels great to say and listen to.

  9. Man this looks amazing. So sad they tried to erase all his work just because of the color of his skin but not surprised. We have to work 10x harder to get notice and most of the times that’s not enough. I can’t wait to see this!!!!

  10. Finally an original story with a black lead that isn't the lead because of a race swap. More of this and less of little black mermaids, please.

  11. Next year I hear there's a movie that has a White man lost in Africa who was the best nose bone player around…

  12. I don't like this woke bullshit but this movie can be good as this is a historic character. Cinema should go this way.

  13. Lol all the third worlders tryna boost the hype for this flick. Hahahaha obvious third worlders

  14. Absolutely hyped for this. More people need to know about him and his music. He's incredible. He should be celebrated just as Mozart and other great composers, but history almost erased all his accomplishments and so he's not remembered that well. Therefore stories like this are very important, this man deserves to be remembered and celebrated.
