An Enchanted Reunion | Disenchanted | Disney+

Dive back into Giselle’s enchanted world.

See the cast reunite in Disenchanted, an Original movie, streaming tomorrow on Disney+.

It has been more than ten years since Giselle (Amy Adams) and Robert (Patrick Dempsey) wed, but Giselle has grown disillusioned with life in the city, so they move their growing family to the sleepy suburban community of Monroeville in search of a more fairy tale life. Unfortunately, it isn’t the quick fix she had hoped for. Suburbia has a whole new set of rules and a local queen bee, Malvina Monroe (Maya Rudolph), who makes Giselle feel more out of place than ever. Frustrated that her happily ever after hasn’t been so easy to find, she turns to the magic of Andalasia for help, accidentally transforming the entire town into a real-life fairy tale and placing her family’s future happiness in jeopardy. Now, Giselle is in a race against time to reverse the spell and determine what happily ever after truly means to her and her family.

“Disenchanted” stars Amy Adams, Patrick Dempsey, Maya Rudolph, Yvette Nicole Brown, Jayma Mays, Gabriella Baldacchino, with Idina Menzel and James Marsden. Directed by Adam Shankman from a screenplay by Brigitte Hales and a story by J. David Stem & David N. Weiss, and Richard LaGravenese, “Disenchanted” is produced by Barry Josephson, Barry Sonnenfeld, and Amy Adams, with Jo Burn, Sunil Perkash, and Adam Shankman serving as executive producers. The movie features songs with music by 8-time Oscar®-winning composer Alan Menken and lyrics by three-time Oscar-winning lyricist Stephen Schwartz, whose work on “Enchanted” garnered three Academy Award® nominations and a score by Alan Menken.

  1. This movie really brought out my inner child. I remember seeing the first one in theaters and I fell in love instantly to the point I was made fun at school.

  2. I loved it even more than the first! Had even more of a beautiful and fun storyline. It was cute, sweet and had good funny moments. Everyone did great in this expically with the dancing and singing. I loved maya as malvina and her being evil. She was perfect for the role.

  3. Truly, back when Enchanted was first released, it was truly a great out of the box idea to use both animated and live action worlds! I’m glad to see how the cast reuniting at the well was genuine.

  4. Unpopular opinion: Giselle is the most underrated Disney princess ever. At least they added her to the Disney princess group. Thank you for including her. Putting that aside, the personality of Giselle reminds me of Anna from Frozen (2013).

I noticed how when Morgan was in the 2D animation world, her dress transformation was the same style transformation as Cinderella (1950) when the fairy godmother put her in the blue dress from the pink torn up dress.

In Love Power, Indina Menzel sings the lyrics “Let it glow”…reminded me of her song Let it Go from Frozen (2013).

  5. The fact that the original actress who played Morgan, Rachel Covey, in the first film, was also joined and attended the premiere night of Disechanted, to support the new Morgan in the sequel, Gabriella Baldocchino. I would love to see her reuniting with Alan Shankman, Amy Adams, and Patrick Dempsey, as well as Idina Menzel and James Marsden.

  6. This should have been released in theaters and Amy Adams should be nominated for Best Actress at the Oscars. Its like if we are anticipating Glenn Close Oscar for Sunset Blvd.

  7. Disney music is really good, have you ever listened to Ghibli music? worth a try ^^ 💖💖💖

  8. My mom, my sister, and I love the first Enchanted ever since my sister, and I were little. I’m so excited for the sequel

  9. Watching the original tonight after I finish some homework, but I've been waiting for this movie for years and i'm so excited for it to come out tomorrow!

  10. I'm proud of Disney for keeping the magic of the original in the sequel. So far, I've been impressed by what I've seen.

  11. 1:05 probs idina not singing back then was because she was from the real world and not from the cartoony-musical world
