1. The Marine Biologist is Gabrielle from Xena, that's why she looks familiar.

2. Typical US TV movie, the movie is well done technically (except for the cheap special effects) and the actors do a good job. They took some elements from Moby Dick, just making the whale even better. Some of the dialogues are so cheesy it's not funny anymore. Quite disappointed with this. There is much better you could do with your time.

3. Waiting on hurricane Ian. That was dumb, stupid ending, poor CGI.

4. Steel is stronger than a whale flesh, same with 911-steel building not gonna be down by stupid aluminum plane

6. Captain Ahab seemed to have no plan and wasted a lot of time pointing his gun at moby dick and not firing, when he finally shot MD in the eye it did nothing, I think MD got away in the end.

13. Well, it started badly. And it tailed off in the middle. And the less said about the end, the better. The acting was pretty stiff. The adaptation of the original was pretty lame. The CGI guppy was lamer than Ahab. How big is the command area on a submarine?

    I'd give it about 1.5 stars out of 5.

14. The movie was good despite the cheap CGI and the unbelievable ending where Michelle survives the obliteration of an island.

27. Here we go again…The woman is the expert and defiant to the men with a smart ass response to questions ! These movies are just like all the rest …A woman is the good and educated one and the men are evil and killers ! Typical Hollywood ! The whale doesn't touch the woman (because the whale is female ) , AND the whale can walk AND it can fly ! The woman is the ONLY survivor !
